oh eh... dont worry.i'm not planning to be a deaconess when i grow up. there arent any women priests at the moment...
now i have the time to write, so do prepare yourself for some long-winded stuff. well, today is the last day of the year < groans >. isn't very exciting is it? well, i'm not really sure how the year's gonna be. bit worried about being a cell leader, since i'm the youngest leader *the baby of the grp* haha. basically about suite 16, yes, i did learn many lessons too. like Aunty Carol said ," the devil no stupid." during the youth leaders retreat. and is that 1 timothy 4: 12 verse trying to tell me something? 3 times already. but my new year resolution: i'm gonna try not to gossip!
well, i am glad i went for youth camp, and that Liz's parents finally let her go. i learnt how privilaged we were to be able to worship the Lord openly too, and we got a new challenge from the Lord. i figured out that the camp com did choose the right theme song, camp commandant and asst. *Liz: tsk tsk..* actually we didnt really ask the Lord which theme song to use but he did use that theme song to minister thru the youth min. those who couldn't come did miss quite a bit, but don't worry, there should be another camp in June to look foreward to. i am not sure about that yet. *Hey Liz, Ryan...'No no no no no no!'* haha btw, Ryan was our asst camp commandant and prayer co-ord. oh yeah, i haven't mentioned. that time when about 15 to 20 of us went for lunch after camp, Ryan stood up in BK and dared to pray- loudly. well, for those Christians who dare not pray in public, i hope that's an encouragement to you, coz Ryan's only 14 this year. Oh- liz did that too. once, in Mos Burger. Well done Liz! anyway, i think being involved in camp had caused my faith in Christ to rise alot, that was one difference. The second was, like our camp commandant *the intellectually corny guy=)* said, i was four days older, and so were many others.
For all the 1E5 ppl, i'm really glad i knew you all, even those whom i'm not very close to or those who don't like me. (sorry lah, i know who you all are.) even if some of us get seperated in2003, i really hope that you all will still have that drive for being the best. For those who might have made mistakes in 2002, well, i hope a New Year means that a mistake in 2002 doesnt matter anymore, and just correct yourselves. there will be new challenges set ahead of you like streaming, so don't give up. keep that fire going.
well, i do have to change and adapt to many things. Sorry for the really long post, but i do hope that all of you did learn something from this. i've started reading some book about the 21 laws of leadership, so my brain juice is pretty sucked up by that so if i end up a bit mentally fatigued *is that how you put it?* you know why coz the book is interesting but really chim. okay... < takes a deep breath > now i must start preparing myself for another 110 push-ups to come. Wanda should know what i mean. oh and did you all know that this year CCA orientation is on a Saturday night? Mrs Lee really is going mad. *eh band girls: So is Mr Tan. haha. you all know what he did to me on Monday 30th Dec don't you?*
